A friend just wrote an article for DIT Kalamazoo dealing with issues of violence, hate speech, and marginalization at shows. This type of shit has no place at a punk show. The initial idea for this article was spawned from a discussion we had the other day about recent instances of intimidation and violence in our community locally. This is something I for one don’t want to see going on in my town or at a show that we are involved in. And I mean to do my part to prevent it. I urge you check out the article and always watch out for your friends.
